Surrey

A collection of engravings of Surrey "100 years ago", but that was in 1956 when these were reprinted, making the images now more than 150 years old.  

All prints are on cream coloured paper.

Charles Traylen, during the accumulation of book publishing rights for his antiquarian bookshop at Castle House, bought the original plates from which this mid-1800s collection was published and used them to reprint the maps in the 1956.  These are now presented for sale here.
